The Real Bridge group meets every Tuesday afternoon, 14:00-17:00, at one of the participants’ homes.
We are currently seven regular members and occasionally co-opt an eighth to complete two tables.
We take our game relatively seriously and the level of play has improved considerably over the last few years.
We play the most widely used system in Europe, the 5 Card Major, which has a lot of similarities to the usual North American system.
Tony Raeburn has written a simple crib sheet to help those who are not used to this system.
We would welcome more players to join us so, if you are at all interested, please let one of the members know and come along some time, if only to ‘kibbitz’ (American Yiddish for looking on).
