Gin Hike 5 Aug 2026 Versoix River

Following the enjoyable and highly successful Zip descent event yesterday there were few takers for a hike today. In fact so few that only Mike Hempstead, Rocco and Kobie and I attended.

It was hot so we descended on the Versoix River walk from Sauverny bridge. Rocco was in vif form and enjoyed many swims. Kobie just paddled. The conditions were superb. We returned partially on the upper track.

Given the heat two hours was enough. 6.62km, 96m. No photo record.

Thanks to those who sent apologies for absence. All were accepted, all seemed well founded. Next hike in 2 weeks.
