The proposal for the 8th of May is an old favourite - a circular walk from the Col du Marchairuz setting off in a southwesterly direction. The walk will take us about 3 hours and bring us back to the restaurant at the Hotel du Marchairuz. After lunch it is only a brief stiff legged stagger across the car park to the cars.

The weather is at present predicted to be rather cooler than today with a high of 9 degrees and an overnight low of 1. Rain is forecast for late afternoon but that should not worry us.

Meeting points suggested are the car park at the Col at 10.00a.m. or Divonne at 9.15.
